My Approach
In my own healing journey as a survivor of trauma, I spent many years moving through anxiety, compulsive patterns, dysregulation, mood swings, and cycles of hyper and hypo-vigilance. I explored countless modalities over the decades, but it wasn’t until I began incorporating somatic healing 15 years ago that everything truly shifted. Somatics helped me reconnect with my body, reclaim agency, heal trauma from the bottom up, and truly feel empowered in my wellbeing.
Somatic healing is a body-based, holistic approach that reconnects mind, body, and spirit by addressing the physical manifestations of trauma and emotions. It is foundational to my work with reprocessing trauma and nervous-system regulation. I guide you in tracking sensations, recognizing survival patterns, and restoring regulation so you can feel grounded and connected.
Somatics reminds you that you are not broken—your body has been trying to protect you. I trust the body’s intelligence. It carries our wounds, but it also carries our wisdom. This work isn’t about forcing or fixing; it’s about listening, creating safety, and allowing the body and heart to lead. I help you reconnect with the deeper knowing beneath the places shaped by trauma and stress. With sensation-based awareness, trauma-responsive care, and compassion, I help you reconnect with your innate capacity for balance, self-love, and embodied wholeness.
